I have a user that is going on extended leave and doesn't want to receive any emails in his inbox but does want people who try to receive his "Out of office" reply.  Does anyone know of a way to configure this?

Hello,

I don't think you can trigger OOF unless the message reaches the mailbox, you could create transport rule (or configure message delivery options) and redirect all messages to another mailbox, and then configure custom NDR and set custom "Bounce" message to senders (instead of configuring OOF).
