windows mail restart  when click some messages

I use windows Mail on Windows 7 64 bits. Now when I click at some messages (not all messages) windows mail stops working, close and starts again.

Windows 7 Mail is at best decent and is prone to "stop working" for no valid reason I can see. I have it running on a Windows 7 machine and the messages are not tied to specific emails (that is, some but not all).

Try running System File Checker. From an administrative Command Prompt, run SFC /SCANNOW and allow to complete.

Restart and test.

I did it, but nothing, Windows Mail is still restarting.

There are a couple of things you can try, one more aggressive than the other.

1. Back up your email (C:\users\username\appdata\local\microsoft\windows live mail . Then uninstall Windows Live Essentials. (Programs and Features0. Restart, and run Windows Update to install Live Essentials. I think your mail should still be there.

2. Run Windows Repair Install. Back up your computer first and then review this Seven Forums Tutorial below.
