Understanding the Customer

I have a client using 59 call center, velocify and Salesforce applications in their environment. They want to find out more about the customer using the solutions they have in place to help with Sales, Customer Service etc. Any suggestions on what analytic tactics would be feasible with the applications listed?

I would likely start by considering a hosted business intelligence tool that has integration already in place with some of the systems that you already have.

Good Data - http://www.gooddata.com is  a good starting point. They should have integration already in place with Salesforce and they provide a hosted solution that will allow you to report on data from all of your source systems.
