combine linkedin pages

I have two linkedin pages.  One, the first one, is pretty lame and it is the one that google finds all the time.  How do I either combine the two or eliminate the first one?

Problem is that the first one is the one that ends with my business name.

Hi there,

If your goal is to eliminate the first one from showing up on Google you can do that by going to your settings and changing the way you appear on search results.

Go to: Privacy & Settings -> Settings -> Edit your public profile -> change settings.

Another note, if you're talking specifically about a 'company page' you can delete it but you have to go through Linked-In's customer support to do so.

http://help.linkedin.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/5016/

If would copy over the information from the 'good' company page over to the one that shows up on search results and then have Linked-In CS delete the empty one.

Hope this helps.

Yes,

Click on your avatar and go to "Company Page" --> click on "manage"
Click on "edit" (blue button on the top right)

On the Overview tab you will be able to change the name of your company.

Hope this helps!
