Gravity Form not Displaying when Using Advanced Logic

I am using Wordpress version 3.8.1 with Gravity Forms version 1.7.12. The issue I am facing is this: When I try to use the "Enable Conditional Logic" function within a field in Gravity Forms, the entire form does not display. However, it works fine when I don't use it. I would really like to make use of this feature. Why is this happening and what can I do to fix it?

Might be that your Gravity Forms is out of date.  Current version is 1.8.3 and in looking back through the changelogs, conditionals have received a fair amount of fixes since then.

I found out the problem was caused by a JavaScript error that was preventing the Gravity Forms script from running the inline display that includes the conditional logic. The theme that I was using was a very old version of JQuery which was overriding the newer version that came with WordPress 3.8. In order to rectify the problem, I had to change the jQuery include to use the recommended WordPress method:  http://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/wp_enqueue_script, i.e.,

wp_enqueue_script( 'jquery' );

You were correct in suggesting that I update to Gravity Forms 1.8.4 as versions older than 1.7.13 are not fully compatible with WordPRess 3.8.
