Windows 8.1 via WDS give Browser Choice error
I've deployed Windows 8.1 using MDT2013 and Windows Deployment Services on Win2012R2 and it deploys ok, except that I get an error during the Windows updates process for the Browser Choice prompt, as in the screen shot below:
I've researched this and there seems to be an issue with the way it uses the built in administrator account as opposed to allowing you to create a new admin account, as you would with a manual installation and affects Metro based apps as well!
One solution appears to be UAC related, but haven't worked out how to turn it off during deployment.
If anyone has successfully deployed Windows 8.1 in this way and knows the solution to the Browser Choice update and missing Metro apps, a detailed but easy step by step would be appreciated.
