I created a custom theme and have inserted code to include the featured image. I cannot figure out why the image is showing inside the page in addition to where I specified the featured-image to appear.

Ok, this code is not helpful.  We need to see the code you have placed on the page in your WordPress editor.

Sign into your admin section (http://irawaynehenry.com/plymaledingus/wp-admin) and click on "Pages" in the left-hand column.  Select the Injury Law page and copy and paste the code from the HTML tab of the editor here.  My bet is that you have the image directly embedded in the page.

Nope. Nowhere in the page. It has to be in one of the php files if not in the ones attached. I converted a PSD file to the site and started with watered down Wordpress theme files I downloaded at https://github.com/sirjonathan/migration-theme/archive/master.zip

Ok, thanks.  It does appear that another template file is being used.

Can you open your theme's folder and look for any file that has a name like "content-page.php" or "content.php" and post that here?
