Cloud Service/Software Recommendation

Hi Experts,

What is a good cloud service/software that I can try for a personal use (but secured of course) ?

I want to be able to access my files from home/office/cafe.

Thanks,

You can check:
1) Dropbox
2) Google Drive
3) Skydrive (microsoft)

but if you provide more details about the usage (what you exactly looking for) like only to keep files or something else we can assist/help you in a better way. Also many companies blocks such file sharing or cloud services so you will have to check that point as well.

So if it's only a matter of files to be accessed from everywhere, using a secure and safe way, you're best recommendation is Dropbox?

You can check http://www.hongkiat.com/blog/online-storage-with-encryption/ which list  the cloud providers which security. Some of them provide 5GB Free disk space.

If you are looking for more space you will have to pay for it.

Thanks for that.

I wouldn't need more than a single GB.

Is dropbox supporting that in this case? Cuz I feel it is more user friendly.

Dropbox provides, very limited space (I think 256 or 500 MB space) to every account but you can increase that space by referring dropbox to your friends. You can check dropbox help for more information.

Also regarding Security of dropbox account you can check following linke:

I personally use Norton Zone : https://www.nortonzone.com/ ( found it via a Newsletter) which I find very useful and userfriendly. It also have versioning of the document.

I went through the help of dropbox. It allows you unlimited space on the app and 10GB limit on the web.

Thanks for all the help.
