Hi

How does the Salt'ed password work? i.e. If there is a user in the aspnet_Membership table and they change their password, does the Password Salt change too? I know the "password" column changes, but does the salt too?

If not, will it EVER change during the life time of the table (for the user)

thanks

From personal experimentation the salt is set when the user account is first created, and doesn't change when the password is either changed or reset.
