I currently have an old Exchange server.

What "email hosting" companies do you recommend for 30 users ?

There's a large number of companies out there who will host email so it's difficult to recommend one. I've had a number of clients who have used various services in the past - gmail, cobweb, outlook 365, 123-reg, etc.

It would really boil down to what you are after - lot of companies will offer POP or IMAP email but this is not as functional as Exchange servers (i.e. calendar and contacts not synchronised), some companies will offer full Exchange hosting (Outlook.com/office 365 for example) which gives you almost the same functionality as your exchange server though may cost more due to increased storage space.

Why spend so long doing email signature updates?

Do you spend loads of your time carrying out email signature updates? Not very interesting are they? Don’t let signature updates get you down. Let Exclaimer Cloud - Signatures for Office 365 make managing email signatures a breeze.

Or, you can use Office 365 SBP: http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/business/office-365-small-business-premium-office-online-FX103037625.aspx
if your users are used to Outlook.

Did not see you need 30 users. SBP is up to 10 users.
For more, you'll need Office 365 Midsize Business: http://office.microsoft.com/en-001/business/office-365-midsize-business-productivity-software-FX103037683.aspx
