Google Maps to change or highlight pin when mouse over text on page

Hello,

I'm looking for a way to highlight a Google map pin when a user hovers over a particular name in a list - so, for example this page has a list of regions (to be tidied up ;-) ):

www.villasdirect.com/top-destinations.asp/?country=France

Thanks in advance!

here's a pretty in depth article that covers all of the basics in doing this:

Hi - thanks for the link, however I'm actually not sure where to start looking!  It's a great resource to have, but I'm hoping to just find a bit of code to add to my list that'll change the icon when my mouse goes over one of the regions...

have a look at the source code on this page:

http://econym.org.uk/gmap/example_hoverchange75.htm

it looks like there is a call to replace the original image with the highlighted one using marker.setImage()
