Dear Sir,

My Exchange 2013 Server have no disc space on C:\ , so I have moved the database file to D:\. Now, on the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) the mailbox is showing Dismounted. When I click on Edit, the database path is grey-out. How can I use Exchange Management Shell to update this location and mount the database.

Thank you.

With regards,

You got to use the Exchange Management Shell to move the database path and log folder path in Exchange 2013

You will be using Move-Databasepath Cmdlet

Move-Databasepath “DatabaseName” –EdbFilepath “C:\Newlocation\DBname.edb” –LogFolderpath “C:\Newlocation”
How to Verify it has been moved Successfully

You can Run

Get-MailboxDatabase “DatabaseName” | FL Name,*Path*

Thank you for your reply. But however I've got the following error message. I think it was because I've already move those exchange mailbox database file manually to D:\. That's why move-databasepath command can't read the source file. Any Suggestions?

[PS] C:\Windows\system32>move-databasepath "Mailbox Database 0841119311" -EdbFilePath "D:\DATA\Exchange\Mailbox\Mailbox
Database 0841119311\Mailbox Database 0841119311.edb" -LogFolderPath "D:\DATA\Exchange\Mailbox\Mailbox Database 084111931
1\"
The .edb file path is not available. There is already a file named 'D:\DATA\Exchange\Mailbox\Mailbox Database
0841119311\Mailbox Database 0841119311.edb' in the file system on server 'EAAMX01.'
Parameter name: EdbFilePath
