I have a client that is missing hundred of contacts.
turns out she has an old .ost file that is huge and i suspect her contacts are in that ost file.
whats the easiest way to retrieve from .ost?
it is currently not connected to any outlook profile.

i tried to add it as a regular mailbox that didnt connect to any servers but outlook failed to recognize it as a valid outlook file in this format?

I would recommend the following tool to go from an .ost to a .pst:
http://www.recoverytoolbox.com/osttopst.html

Let me know how it goes.
