SQL Server Data Tools Business Intelligence Tools - Installation problem

I am trying to install SQL Server Data Tools Business Intelligence tools to an existing SQL Server 2012 installation and getting the error below.  Can someone tell me how to resolve this error?

BlockMixedArchitectureInstall Checks whether the installing feature(s) are the same CPU architecture as the specified instance.  Failed The CPU architecture of installing feature(s) is different than the instance specified. To continue, add features to this instance with the same architecture.

Hi,

What edition and processor are you trying to install?

What edition and processor is the current install?

That is, Standard Edition vs Standard Edition (64-bit) say.
