fdf to PDF in Safari Browser

Anyone know of a way to get the Apple Safari Browser to open a pdf document that is being populated by an fdf file (actually open an fdf with an Acrobat reader inside Safari)?

(Like it can be done with Internet Explorer and Acrobat Reader)

I did this search https://www.google.com/search?q=Safari+open+fdf and the 'answer' was for each computer to change some settings.  If you are trying to get browsers to open an 'fdf' from your site, it appeared that the best recommendation for Safari on a Mac is to download the file and open it with Adobe Reader.  That appears to be the only method that works consistently.  Since it is a problem between Safari and Adobe on the users computer, it's not something that you can fix from your site.
