I have from date and to date textbox in asp.net, both are using asp.net ajax toolkit to get pop up calendar. In addition, I have a db table called blockdates have block date column.

What I need to do is to read the db tables for example the db table has date 01/01/2013, 02/01/2013. I need to get both dates and send to ajax calendar and block / gray out the date so the end user can't select it.

How can I do that? I really need some experts to walk me through how to do that because I never work like this situation in the past.

Thanks

Hi,

First you need to get those dates from database. If you are using asp.Net then get those dates filled in dataTable or something.

The CalendarExtender class has a SelectedDate property that you could set from filled datatable and put this code in page load event.

You can further extend css class as well to make it gray or something.

Hope this helps
