I am running icloud and google sync. I can't get to the bookmarks because of the number firefox appears to hang when I try and get to the bookmarks.

Is there  a way to delete the bookmarks without opening firefox?

Thanks,

Steve

They are stored in a special profile folder.  Follow this link and it will tell you how to find it, and from there you can locate your bookmarks and work on cleaning them up.

They are in a SQL database, if I delete the database file  will firefox recreate it?

As far as I can see the only way to get Firefox to be able to open that database but because I have so many entries I'm unable to do that.
