Hello! I have an InDesign document with several hundred pages that seems to have shifted when I did a data merge.

Is there any way to move the images and text boxes that are now not in their proper spot without having to go in and do it page by page?

The document is in InDesign CC

I am afraid that InDesign only allows moving and other transformations on one page or spread at the time.

But you could make this less painful by

first calculating how much objects have to move
verify that it is the same on other pages
then do one transformation on one page/spread
use Object>Transform Again>Transform Again for each spread
(make a shortcut for this menu item)

Secondly, when you do a data merge a new document is made but you keep the original. Can't you just run the data merge again?

It appears this is a common issue with data merge in indesign, but i found the solution

Set you letter up once, and set your Merge dialog this way:
Records to Merge: All Records
Records per Doucment Page: Single Record

Yes, that is how Data Merge works. And as I mentioned, your original letter is untouched but a new document is made.

The answer to that ID: 39868689 is: I am afraid that InDesign only allows moving and other transformations on one page or spread at the time.
