Mail Server IP Blocked by Hotmail
Hi,
The IP address of a VPS I use for web and email hosting was blocked by hotmail on the 10th of February 2014. The smtp error code quoted in the Mail Delivery Failed email, from hotmail, was 550 SC-001 (COL0-MC3-F51). The VPS manager requested that the IP be unblocked by hotmail, however it is still blocked.
What can be done to get this resolved quickly?
Thanks in advance

Hi hecgomrec,
Thanks for your answer, however that tool was used prior to posting the question and the results were "ok" for all but 1, which timed-out. The issue was with hotmail.

If your IP was not listed, then it was your ISP relay server.
Usually, they won't tell you if your ISP is the one blacklisted... not good for business :-).
Hope everything is good now, if not just let us know.

Posted suggestions were tried before and issue was resolved
Please go to :www.mxtoolbox.com/blacklis
Once the check is finish, see who listed you and the reason. Then work on the solution for the provided reason on your LAN and when you think you solved the issue then request the removal. If the issue is not solved and prevention for it to happen again will put you back in the list faster than before and it will be harder to get removed next time.
Hope this help.
