Hi,

I need to put together a small program for my daughters school and I want to use MVC/ASP.net with VB.net with a sql backend.

I need to connect to a database and view/edit/delete grades for each student.

I'm not really super familiar with anything but asp.net, so if anyone have a small finished demo project I can peak at, I'd greatly appreciate it.

I have been fiddling all day with various tutorials with no luck :(

You may not be get exactly same application. If you are using MVC then it will be very easier to implement Add/Edit/Delete functionality. You can look for CRUD operation by using Entity framework in MVC.

http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/MVC4-ENTITY-FRAMEWORK-10-e15ef983

It will be easier to create website.

Hope this helps.
