Recover the server by installing Exchange using Setup.com /M:RecoverServer (good guide to this here).  This will take the configuration for the server from AD, and rebuild it with the old settings.

You'll then need to reseed your databases from the CCR cluster.

for one database:

Update-StorageGroupCopy <ccr-clustername>\<databasename> -standbymachine <scr-servername>

Resume-StorageGroupCopy <ccr-clustername>\<databasename> -standbymachine <scr-servername>

or for all of them:

Get-StorageGroupCopyStatus -StandbyMachine <scr-servername> | where {$_.SummaryCopyStatus -notlike '*notconfigured*'} | Update-StorageGroupCopy  -standbymachine <scr-servername>

Get-StorageGroupCopyStatus -StandbyMachine <scr-servername> | where {$_.SummaryCopyStatus -notlike '*notconfigured*'} | Resume-StorageGroupCopy  -standbymachine <scr-servername>

/M:RecoverServer should install the server with the roles and configuration stored in AD for the server, so it should achieve what you need.

Hi,

Follow the below step. This case was faced with us.

We were not able to bring the Exchange resources online on CCR "EQ-EX01".
While open EMC & EMS we were getting error "Domain Equaterra.local cannot be contacted or does not exist".
We performed the metadata cleanup on old FSMO role holder serer and non-operational domain controller and removed the entries from DNS.
Further all domain controllers were rebooted along with exchange servers but still exchange was not able to communicate with DC.
We tried force full replicate domain controllers by running command repadmin /syncall /AdeP but getting error "The RPC serer is unavailable" & "Target principle name is incorrect"
Dcdiag found many errors hence DS team was involved to resolve AD replication issue.
DS team reset the secure channel between domain controllers and removes the old domain controller’s entries from the ADSIEDIT and DSSITE post which AD replication issue resolved.
Further we found Exchange start communicating with domain controller.
We tried to bring Network name resource online but it failed.
We checked and found MS Exchange System Attendant and MS Exchange Information Store service startup type was set to automatic. We changed startup type to manual on both nodes and rebooted Exchange servers.
After reboot Exchange servers still we were unable bring Network name resource online in Failover Cluster Manager.
On EQ-Mail computer object we added cluster name account and gae it to full permission but still issue persist.
Further we generated the cluster logs by running command Cluster log /gen /copy "temp"
We analyzed cluster log files and found below warning
"WARN [RES] Network Name <Network Name (EQ-MAIL)>: Password for computer account EQ-CLUSTERMAIL$ is incorrect (status 0x0000052E).  LOGONUSER Failed for CNO Incorrect CNO password"
We deleted Cluster account from Active directory users and computer console.
Repaired the active directory object for windows cluster CNO object post which cluster name resource brought online.
After that we successfully bring the Network Name resource online.
While taking MS Exchange Information store resource online it got failed.
We checked the dependencies for the same and found Network Name resource was missing added the same and further it comes up.
After that we successfully bring all the storage group resources online on the serer.
Checked the copy status of storage groups and found they were in Healthy state except for one Storage Group.
Checked mail flow and found it is working fine.

@chriskelk, Are you sure? We are able to run \M:RecoverServer on the SCR target server.

I would appreciate, if you provide any referenced article.? Thanks
