Have you enabled the option to show a preview?

Tools->Internet Options->Settings button in the Tabs Section->Tick "Show previews for individual tabs in the taskbar"

PS you need to restart IE after ticking this for it to take effect.

Yes, I've done all of that & when I hover over the minimized windows on the task bar, it does show what I have opened in a list format, I need it to show the preview window of the screen

I'm not sure exactly what you are seeing; can you please hover over the minimized window again, then press the print screen key, then start paint and paste the capture into it.  Then save the image and upload it here.
