Hello and Good Afternoon Everyone,

I am interested in helping a friend with a concern surrounding the use of Lock Down Browser to open a quiz which is necessary to complete a course for Motlow State Community College in the State of Tennessee.  I think the direct link to Motlow State Community College is http://www.mscc.edu.  At any rate, she is needing step by step instructions for using Lock Down Browser to open a quiz.  At the moment, I believe she can do this by going to mscc.edu, then go to Quick Links, then, MSCC Online/D2L.  From there, she has the necessary log in credentials.  But, she is wanting to do it though through Lock Down Browser.

In closing, if someone could share some insights or perhaps provide a link outlining the steps she needs to carry out to achieve her goal of using Lock Down Browser to open a quiz, it will be greatly appreciated.  Unfortunately, there is a time crunch on this because she needs to complete this quiz by Friday.

Thanks in advance for any attention and feedback given to this post.  I look forward to hearing back from everyone.

login page, where you can then log in, go into your course and take your exam. (You should only use the Lockdown Browser for exams requiring it within D2L.)http://century.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/263/~/how-to-install-%2F-update-and-use-the-respondus-lockdown-browser%3F

Hello and Good Morning,

Thank you so much for your quick reply.  The links provided certainly did help put all of this together.  Using her login credentials, I was able to help her access Quiz 2 for her course after double-clicking on the Lock Down Browser on the Windows 7 desktop.  While I am not exactly sure where the confusion began, I do speculate it has something to do with the wireless USB network adapter she has been trying to use with this laptop.  I did notice some structural damage to it at the location at which it interfaces with the USB port of the laptop.  I was able to carry out the instructions simply by using the integrated wireless of the laptop itself without the aid of the wireless USB network adapter.  Once I logged in, I was able to open Quiz 2.  Of course, I did not select Take Test because I assumed if I made it that far, there were not going to be any issues.  To make a long story short, I believe the problem was more isolated to being a connection issue as opposed to a problem with the website itself.  But, that is just my opinion though.

Once again, many thanks for your suggestions and resourceful links.  I am confident to say this issue is now resolved.
