Server 2008R2 3 Hper-V VM's DC\Exchge\BES BES has been running ok for 3 years. Users were receiving intermittently so upgraded to v5.0.4 and have since upgraded to EXGE SP3. No mail going to devices. IEMSTest successful bbsrptest successful Gone through all the various KB related to the errors can't what is wrong and my tearing my hair out. Also getting
"DecryptDecompress() failed Error 604" Event ID 20209 Tried adding a brand new device via BlBerry Desktop it doesn't get activated. Where do I go from here
Have 60 Users out on the road going nuts

Did you upgrade the MAPI CDO client on the BES? To do that you need to stop and disable all of the BES services. Remove the old MAPI CDO client, reboot the machine, install the new one and then change the BES Services back to automatic and reboot again.

Apologies for not responding. we managed to resolve our issue by finding a two week old backup of the VM. We believe a corruption occurred because one of the 8 Raid5 disks although not failing was showing wear and tear and this was affecting things.
With regards to your response I do not recall there a requirement to upgrade the MAPI CDO and do the best of my knowledge our MAPI CDO was the required version.
