ipad/Active sync with Exchange 2010

All of a sudden I cannot connect ipad/iphone to exchange 2010. The ipad does connect but where it says last synchronization is blank. I get an error on the ipad saying cannot connect to the server.

Should I restart the MSExchangeSyncAppPool???

Firsrt restart the Ipad and chek if internet connection is working on IPad

Yeah all that has been done already. I even re wiped the ipad from scratch and didnt use the backup. So the ipad is wiped im settings up the exchange part.

If it is one person having problems and everybody else is working, Id tend to look on the iPad side before restarting server services.
ie can the ipad surf the internet...etc

It is currently working for everyone it is only when I try to connect a new device.

Hello,

Are you a Domain Admin? If so, you need to enable inheritance on your account:

Open Active Directory Users and Computers.
On the menu at the top of the console, click View > Advanced Features.
Locate and right-click the mailbox account in the console, and then click Properties.
Click the Security tab.
Click Advanced.
Make sure that the check box for "Include inheritable permissions from this object's parent" is selected

Exchange will automatically revert this so you have a short window between enabling inheritance and syncing the device for the first time.

Yes and this has been done already and still no luck. I tried doing that yesterday.

Is activesync enabled on your account? How long did you want after enabling inheritance? I've seen it take a bit of time.

Yes its enabled

I did it about 1pm EST yesterday. How long does it take more then 24 hours?

The time it takes depends on your AD replication. If you are making the change in the same site as the Exchange server, it should be pretty quick. You have to sync the device before Exchange reverts the change, so you have a window of about an hour.

I would give it another try.

I restarted the IIS services and emails started going to the ipad's and I can connect new devices.
