I know there are places online to download trial versions of Windows 7 & all of it's OS version but is there a place I can go to download a trial version of Windows 8? Also, can I find a link to download trial versions of Vista just so I can replace some system files?

Have you tried this? http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/hh699156.aspx

Also, if you need to replace windows vista files, you might need to get the install disks. Here is an upgrade-install option http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/88236-repair-install-vista.html
