The meeting is showing up as tentative on the Public Folder calendar

Hi There,

We have few public folder calendars that we use to book meetings as a place holder, sometimes we use this calendar to send meeting invites as suppose to sending from the personal calendar in Outlook.

What I've noticed is that, whenever a meeting invite is sent from the public folder calendar, and assume the invite gets accepted, when you look at the meeting invite from the public calendar it shows as "tentative" as suppose to "accepted" for all those included in the meeting invite.

I am not sure if this how it behaves when using public folder calendars as suppose to personal calendar, can someone help me confirm this?
