User cannot view file Excel 2010 file in shared folder / OS Windows 7 Professional

User cannot view file Excel 2010 file in shared folder.  If user clicks to open, the file opens but there is nothing in it.  If another user opens it, it opens fine.  

Have deleted user's temp files.  USer is not getting an access denied error.  User has restarted pc with no better results.  

Does anyone have any other ideas as far as what else could be checked?

As a test....
Make a copy of the file and give it a new name. Can the user open the renamed file? Better still, do a "File - Save As" and rename it that way.

If I rename the file and then user can see it, what would that tell us?  it is a shared file that other users access.  So, I would have to either replace her pc or take steps to view the file.  It seems to be stuck on a cell.

there appears to me to be something cached from excel in her user profile.  If i open the file, it opens fine.
