Remote Desktop Connection

Hi, I have a windows 7 SP1 laptop and when I try and connect via RDP to anything it crashes with Remote desktop connection has stopped working and this in the event log

Faulting application name: mstsc.exe

I have run sfc / scannow which found errors (not sure if this was one of them) but still no good. Really need to start using this??

I found the fault. I looked at the RDP properties to see if I could restore files from a restore point and noticed a program called Acronis which I had installed and the trial had expired. I removed it and now works fine?
