How do I add some space between the 3 columns (one row) and the navigation bar/slider. See live site link below for an idea as to how much to add. (live site isn't responsive.  We are converting site to a bootstrap site)

I also need to figure out how to modify the navigation div tag.  I understand that I am not to modify the bootstrap.css file yet, isn't that where it is calling from?

Just add a class to the div e.g. spacer and add this css

.spacer {
margin-top:10px
}
