Hi all,
I've bought a washing machine with the model number in the title. This is a dutch model but I suspect there is a different name for the same model in another language (perferably English). Can anyone help m ewith that ? I'm stuck with manual I can hardly understand.

Cheers,

It's the region specific version of their IQ-500 range there are some local variations but Siemens naming system for Europe uses the last four characters to localise region and distributor.

Try a UK version of the IQ-500 but expect some cosmetic differences.

@speed_54. That washing machine has a very different front. Not to mention that is a 7 liter instead of 8 liters.
@(Masqueraid) thanks for your suggestion. Having taken your suggestion I have foud that the Siemens IQ-500 WM14S496GB is nearly exactly the same machine. there are the small cosmetic differences you mentioned, and some programs (only on the right side of the dial) that are different but hardware wise is exactly the same. I presume the changes are basically due to the need to adapt to the specific market, and that is only some software configuration changes.
Thanks all.
