Hi,

I have configured Loadbalancer configuration as per the below article,

http://wiki.magnolia-cms.com/display/WIKI/Guide+-+How+to+configure+an+apache+load+balancer

Here is my configuration,

<VirtualHost *:80>
        ServerName mycluster.mydomain.com

        ProxyRequests Off

        <Proxy *>
          Order deny,allow
          Allow from all
        </Proxy>

        ProxyPass /balancer-manager !
        ProxyPass / balancer://mycluster/ stickysession=JSESSIONID nofailover=On
        ProxyPassReverse / ajp://localhost:8008
        ProxyPassReverse / ajp://localhost:8009
        <Proxy balancer://mycluster>
          BalancerMember ajp://localhost:8008 route=public1
          BalancerMember ajp://localhost:8009 route=public2
          ProxySet lbmethod=byrequests
        </Proxy>

        <Location /balancer-manager>
          SetHandler balancer-manager
        </Location>

</VirtualHost>

I have two Tomcat Cluster based Apps running on the same server (redhat 6)  with Connector port 8080 / AJP port 8008 and Connector Port 8081/ AJP port 8009

Ex:

      <Connector port="8008" enableLookups="false"
                  redirectPort="8443" protocol="AJP/1.3" />

            <Engine name="Catalina" defaultHost="localhost" jvmRoute="public1">

      <Connector port="8009" enableLookups="false"
                  redirectPort="8443" protocol="AJP/1.3" />

            <Engine name="Catalina" defaultHost="localhost" jvmRoute="public2">

Restarted apache and was able to access http://mycluster.mydomain.com

and Both Tomcat instances are running fine.

then I did shutdown both Tomcat instances and then start only second instance which is running on port 8081/ajp 8009.. tried to access web url (http://mycluster.mydomain.com) -it does not come up fine.

I shutdown running instance and then started first node (8080/8008) and tried to access URL - then I got the web page comes up fine. It looks to me second instance was not able to configured properly.

Can someone help me?

Thanks
