asp.net table and button invoking action

folks

I am learning asp.net, I have a table, first row in the table are column headers

i.e.

system    url                     status
dev         dev.com            
oat                    
 

how can I press a button on the page, much in the same way as a vb excel macro and update the values of the status column if the url field is populated?

system    url                     status
dev         dev.com             created      
oat                                      not created

all help will do

You should use the aps.net gridview control it has in-build support for CRUD records.
