CRM 2013 navigation bar

Greetings,

In 2011 we were using a custom entity that had an information tab on the left hand side which was really useful (attached below). With the upgrade to CRM 2013, this has disappeared. Is there away this could be replicated. It is the notes section that is most important to us. Kind regards. SJ

In CRM 2013, related items to a record can be accessed by clicking the down arrow on the right of the record name in the navigation bar.

You can add Notes to the main form by adding the Social Pane in the Form Editor,
