Office 2013 Word - Saving myfile.doc no longer shows in the bottom status bar

Here it goes again. Annoyance #2
I seem to have shut off Word's ability to  show   Saving Myfile.doc in the status bar.
I do not know what Microsoft was thinking. It is way too easy to enable /disable features in this program that effect the look and feel. Before I had a problem with Hyperlinks displaying funky. Now it is the Saving status as I pressed CTRL+S
and now When I press CTRL+S  I no longer get my Saving xyz file text to show in the status bar

Evidently its way too easy to mess yourself up by turning off good features

Today its the saving .... my file  status update when I press CTRL+S

My thought is to delete all customisation and use a macro to reapply any customisation so you can keep track of things...

To delete (source):
Before you begin, close Word.

Delete NORMAL.DOTM and BUILDINGBLOCKS.DOTX
Normal.DOTM and BuildingBlocks.DOTX usually reside in C:\Users\<your user name>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
The default NORMAL.DOTM files used for new profiles are stored C:\Users\Default\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Templates
These files are rebuilt automatically when word is started
Use regedit to delete HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\14.0\Word\Data
This key is rebuilt automatically when word is started

BTW - as per your heading I am assuming you are using word 2013 and not 365 (topic)
