does anyone know what the default recommended management tool (hardware level) is for IBM x3650 servers? i.e. the name of the product, and how it is accessed remotely, i.e. via web browser (and default address)..

Don't think there is a stand-alone product like HP's SMH or Dell's OMSA, but IBM Systems Director is the equivalent for monitoring multiple servers with local agents and a central management console.

Are you familiar with IBM Integrated Management Module? Does this come with all ibm servers?

Some servers have IMM embedded on mobo, others it's a snap-in card if I remember correctly. Also virtual media is licensed by a plug-in dongle rather than software license. HP equiv = iLO, Dell equiv = DRAC.
