Help researchers with my computer? (What websites)

I'm trying to compile a single list that contains links to all of the major research projects that you as a individual can help research with your personal PC. I'm trying to help spread awareness where people can help others out with their idling computer. I might try reaching out to these research facilities to possibly make a single interface where we can tie all these research projects together, and people will pick what they want without having to go to multiple websites. Of course my intention is to do this all for free.

For example there are some web sites where your computer can pool with other computers to help sift through data to find planets, others are to help map the human genome.

My question is can any of you help provide links for me? I use to use one that helps find planets many years ago, I can't seem to find very many of them anymore.
