Differences in Coldfusion 8 and Coldfusion 10?

Our company's website is currently running on Coldfusion 8 and we need to update it to Coldfusion 10.  However, I'm worried about upgrade or migration issues to CF 10.  I looked at the Adobe website and couldn't find any documentation comparing the differences or changes from CF 8.

Our plan is to run two servers concurrently, our current server and the new one with CF 10 and to spend the month of March troubleshooting any issues that pop up on the new server. Then in April to switch over to the CF 10 server exclusively.

Both servers run Linux and use MySQL 5.

Anyone have any feedback on potential problem areas or things to look out for?

Hi, There has been much changes in ColdFusion 10 but as per migration of coldfusion 8 to 10, You will not see any potential issues as CF9 and CF10, added new functionality rather than deleting any, so only things to watch out are the MySQL Connectors with the new Coldfusion 10.

Couple of things to note as: ColdFusion 8 holds the folders at  c:/coldfusion8/lib

while coldfusion10 works in different way

c:/coldfusion10/cfusion/lib
