Drag & Drop from a Webpage

Looking for some help in finding a web development language that I can display a list of xml files on the file system and allow a user to drag them to a client and drop them into a Windows Form.

any web language will work to display the files.
ColdFusion, .Net, php, etc ...

then use jquery to drag and drop.

This will allow me to drop a file from the website file system to my Client? The example you gave appears to do the opposite? I might be missing something.

you know when you have an img tag <img src="somefile.png"> you can simply drag it to your desktop or to a folder in windows explorer.
but it doesn't work that way with other file types - I don't believe.
you'd need to "download" the files.
this is based on security concerns of letting js access the local file system - I believe.
