Hello,

we have a server 2008 R2 Standard. Last successful automatic update installation was at 24.01. Since that, I get every minute on the system event log that the service "Windows Modules Installer" service terminated unexpectedly. ID 7034. The package Windows6.1-KB947821-v31-x64.msu can’t be installed, because this reason.
The application log shows the error for the TrustedInstaller.exe at the same time.
What could I do?

Thank you for your help in advance!

Please run the system Update Readiness Tool,

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/947821

And check the output c:\Windows\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

See whether you are getting any errors in Checksur log.
