Just throwing this out there as I cant find it fro searching.

Is it possible to push the CA root certificate to managed blackberry devices?

We are running BES 5 and all I want to do is push the enterprise cert to all the devices so it is trusted. I know I can email users and they can install it, but is there any way to automate it with no user invention.

I know its possible to get the client to auto enrol and pull down its own certificate, but i just want the root cert installed no user cert.

Cheers

Look in the SDK for BES 5 - I am sure there is a tool in there connected with certificates.

Simon.

I think this is a bit of an over kill, and as we are moving away from BES nto some thing I want to get in to. Cheers for the idea though.

I did have a look but not seen any evidence of some one doing the same via the SDK

Well cant really suggest this as a solution as even with the SDK this is not a straight forward answer. But it really does seem that there is no other solution forth coming.
