Does Flash have a Firefox problem?

I've been switching from Chrome back to Firefox and everything's fine except that the Flash plugin is crashing quite regularly ... is that just my machine or a known problem? If the latter: what can I do to get rid of this problem? Without yanking Firefox, of course ;)

Thanks!
