I couldnt find any definitive answers for some concerns I have.  Can someone please provide insight

We are running Exchange 2010 RTM

Where are the transport rules stored in AD?
We have two servers with the cas and hub transport role installed, when creating a transport rule on one server it appears to replicate to the other.  Will it also run on the other? I havent done any pipeline tracing yet.

Where are the transport rules stored in AD?
open adsiedit.msc
navigate to
Configuration---Service--First-Organisation-- Transport Settings--Rules--Transport

Once you create transport rule, its STORED in ad, and available to all.
