I have a windows domain connected to Comcast internet services.  I also use DynDNS services as well for email mail hopping.

As of late my internet has slowed down and I am temporarily loosing RDP connections.

Can anyone offer configuration information or recommendations that would optimize performance such as DNS and using RDP over the internet?

Network;
Comcast / Xfinity router – Arris TG852G wireless gateway
DC – Server 2008 R2
Exchange 2010
Windows 7 clients

Have you contacted Comcast to open a ticket ? It could be a problem on the remote side.
A decent firewall will also help gathering diagnostic information for you with respect to bandwidth usage.
