How do i login to a cisco 3550 switch?

Howvcan i find its IP address? What is the default username and password?

If you have physical access connect a console cable to the console port and a serial port on your computer.  You may have to get serial to USB cable.

Default userid is admin if there is a password it should be admin also.

Set serial port connection settings

Bits per sec    :  9600
Data bits       :     8
Parity          :  none
Stop bits       :     1
Flow control    :  none

If the switch has been previously configured and has user-id and password you can follow this to reset:
