Why don't you instead set up a transport role?

You could set a condition that states if any messages are sent to someone inside the organization of @domainxyz - reject with a message that requests they resend the email to the appropriate address.

To do so... Launch the ECP from your web browser.
Click on the 'Mail Control' option in the left pane
Then create a New rule

I have tried that but the NDR type is too small and senders will not see it.
Can I manage each users email account via ECP  and create a rule that says "you have contacted me at @domainabc please use @domainxyz
We are trying to force everyone to use the new email address.
I thought rejecting it would be a better solution but it is not working correctly.

Ok, so I need a transport rule that says any mail coming in for @domainabc to be rejected and message that the domain is being phased out (or any essage) and resend message to users @domainxyx.
The only way I know how to do this is the rule reject and send status code which then creates a ndr to sender and the portion of the message is so small you can miss it.  Is there any other way or rule to handle this. It just seems so simple !
