YouTube Link

Hi, I have created a small intro video for my business which will be changing slightly as the months progress, for various different reasons.

I want to be able to give the YouTube URL out to various customers but i don't want to have to issue a new YouTube URL each time the video changes as some of these customers will be sending the video onto other potential customers.

Is there a way to update the video and keep the YouTube URL or Vimeo.

I know I could create a webpage and give the URL of hone webpage out so that I could just update the video each time, however hoes to video will be embedded across many different websites and applications so ideally I would need to be able to update the video on the main direct YouTube URL.

I doubt this is possible at all' but just thought I'd ask... thanks in advance for your help...

Yes I dont knwo if this possible as the URL woudl reflect the directory of the youtube any changes may require a new URL
BUT!!! it might just be ok if you use the youtube inbuilt video editor
Just upload your video to your youtube account, remember these days it's likely associated with your Google Plus account as well
In your youtube account click on your avatar top right  then click on Video Manager
All your current youtube  video will be listed.
Put a Tick in the one you want edit, now you have two choices either edit or expand that arrow next to edit there you can choose enhancements
It will open a new page where you enhance it with a split screen
Editing it is slightly different
check them both out there is lots you can adjust and I believe it will effect the URL

Thanks Merete.

I don't think the Edit options provided will really accomodate each change in the video... as it is really a matter of inserting different scenes while also changing data (reports and numbers) into the video.
As I didnt know what extent of changes you wanted to do
now I do I can confirm your inquiry that any changes made to the original video not on youtube indeed you'd need to upload a newer rendition each time.
Inserting new scenes cannot be done on youtube video manager but adding newer texts ie changing data  can.
Cheers

Ok cool, thanks Merete... i wonder if Vimeo is the same... i'll check it out, thanks...
I was editing my comment lol
ok again
You can use One Drive ie Sky drive and upload it there then share it and everyone you share it with gets the email with the URL to this video
Vimeo is the same if it has any video editing tools. I'm dont know as I have never used it for that like in youtube.

Understand that any real modifications that are not done on that video on that web page is not reflected with that particular video anymore it will only be on the video on your computer
Unless your using your own web page written in PHP or java that you can modify the embedded video.
I know there is web sites that have a weekly update but is different setup  ;)

Ok, thanks Merete
I meant to add now if you know how to embed the youtube link if you decide to build a web page, you can embed videos on a website using an iframe tag that links with an isolated YouTube video player. This way it can be used on any web page  no application needed
