RDP Error on Windows 7

We are using a KMC HVAC management app (BacStage 5000) on a Windows XP Pro workstation.  We can RDP to the workstation and launch the app.  The workstation uses a Safenet security dongle.  We are trying to migrate the app to a new Windows 7 workstation.  The app is installed on the Windows 7 workstation (we moved the security dongle) and it runs fine locally.  If we RDP to the workstation and launch the app, we get an error "terminal services detected (H0027).  KMC says that RDP will not work on Windows 7 to run the app.

I tried an alternative remote access product (TeamViewer) and it works fine.  We would like to get RDP working.  Any ideas.

It is most likely the UAC which you can disable.  VNC is a better option (that is why team viewer works) and more secure.

I have installed TightVNC and it works very good.  Where would I disable the UAC option?

You will see on this page how to do it, but you will also see that they recommend against it.  If you have solved the problem without turning UAC off I would also recommend against turning UAC off.
