SSL cert error with RDS gateway

hi experts

I am having an issue with my RDS gateway server where i am receiving the following error

the computer cant verify the identity of the RD gateway.  

my server is 2012 standard.

are you using a self signed certificate? tell me more about your certificates common names

it was then I changed it; problem is that i tried to revert back and don't know where and how to do it.  

i also made a change in IIS in the rdweb --> pages --> applications (set the defaultTSgateway to RDS.domainname.com.  

i have a dns entry with the same name (rds.domainname.com) and created a cert in the RD gateway properties with the same name.

i went ahead and purchased a cert which fixed my issue
