I have a group of servers that were inappropriately shutdown due to a power outage. Unfortunately, on this particular UPS i did &nbsp;not have any parachute or software installed.<br />

However, I could be wrong, but in the past, I was able to console (COM) to the APC unit and view the logs even though there was no software previously installed. It's as if the events and logs were on the APC unit itself.<br />

This morning I was trying to access a different UPS using the same method, but after installing all the software on the management server which is attached to the APC unit, i was only able to view logs generated since the software was installed.<br />
<br />
Again, on the other UPS ( a tried this a while ago) i just installed software and was able to look up data from a few days before i even installed the software.<br />

Is it possibe to view logs from the APC unit even thought I didn't have any software installed on my management server
